If your situation is B let me tell you congrats!  you are a light traveler and know exactly what's important to take on a flight!

But, if your situation is a don’t worry I have some tips for you!

Tips for traveling light

  1. It’s a good idea you plan your trips, decide where you would like to go and then check the weather forecast for each place so you can pack suitable clothes for your trips or events!
  2. You can make a list of the things you are thinking in packing and then consider if you actually need them.
  3. Buy the lightest suitcase you can.
  4. Start by packing your things in a small suitcase instead of your biggest one.
  5. Try wearing your heaviest clothes that you’re planning to take or don’t take any heavy luggage if there is no need for them.
  6. Don’t take all your shoes, these take up a lot of space in the suitcase, try taking only a pair or two and especially the ones that can match with all your clothes!
  7. Take only one or two just in case cloths for special events that may occur in your trip.
  8. Don’t take your full size essential sanity items instead buy small containers and fill them or buy your items when you arrive to your destination.

Now , do you know or had jet lag? well incase you haven’t and don’t have idea of what it is i’m going to tell you and also tell you some advice on how not to get it!

What is jet lag?

Jet lag, also known as time zone change syndrome or desynchronosis, occurs when people travel rapidly across time zones or when their sleep is disrupted, for example, because of shift work.

Symptoms of jet lag vary.

This Calendar + Caffeine Combo offsets jet lag and will have you ...

Prevention tips

  • choosing flights that arrive in the early evening local time, so that you can aim to sleep around 10.00 p.m.
  • preparing for a long flight eastward, by getting up and going to bed early for several days before, and for a westward flight, get up and go to bed later
  • changing your watch to the destination time zone as soon as you board the plane
  • keeping active during the flight by doing exercises, stretching, and walking along the aisle
  • using an eye mask and ear plugs and aim for strategic napping. Try to sleep when it is night-time at your destination, and sleep for 20 minutes at a time at other times, to reduce sleepiness
  • drinking plenty of water during the flight, and avoiding alcohol and caffeine, to minimize dehydration

On arrival:

  • Avoid heavy meals or strenuous exercise.
  • Spend time outdoors preferably in sunlight.
  • Sleep at a “normal” time for the destination time zone.

The sooner a person can adapt to the local timetable, the sooner the body clock will adapt to the new environment.

People who travel regularly for work should make sure they get regular exercise.
